ENCQOR 5G is proud to sustainably continue its activities amid the ongoing pandemic by using innovative ways to support participating SMEs and its various partners.
A bootcamp organized on July 8th in collaboration with Prompt, Ciena, Thales and Ericsson was highly successful. The initiative was run smoothly, and the nine participating SMEs from Quebec were able to experience the 5G test bed remotely in real time. This allowed participants from remote areas to use ENCQOR 5G.
The MarS hub also held an ENCQOR 5G Virtual Demonstration Interaction on June 18th, where five participating Ontario SMEs were able to present, demonstrate and discuss their ENCQOR 5G projects and products. This event provided an opportunity for these SMEs to interact with other participants, including potential clients. More than 60 people participated in this activity.
The success of these two recent events and the regular recruitment of new participating SMEs demonstrate that ENCQOR 5G, despite COVID-19, is actively pursuing its mission to help those developing 5G technology in Canada. Thank you to all those who are contributing to the deployment of this strategic program for the Canadian economy.
